Papua’s Destiny in Indonesian’s Frame

Introduction

Papua, with a natural beauty which is so stretched is the great wealth of Indonesia. The Natural scenery of Papua with purifies. As well as its natural resources, this is predicted to make Indonesia turned into a developed country with the population that is rich in treasures. It is inversely proportional to the reality. Papua is poor within its own territory. Even though, Papua is regarded as the latest population in education, race, economics, etc. While in fact, Papua has many treasures within.

Properties owned Papua, have not fully yet enjoyed by the Papuans itself. This is because of the companies that stood in Papua, controlled by Foreign Country. Even that Papua should get the positive effects of the company, but this would in turn make the condition Papua increasingly threatened, even some of the Papuan people want to separate themselves from NKRI in order to realize their dreams, thus formed the Free Papua Movement. Papua decision to secede from the Republic of Indonesia is not the best solution for them. There are several reasons that I disagree if Papua will secede from NKRI.

Unity of Indonesia

Indonesia is unity, where all of district from Sabang to Merauke is one, Indonesia. Anything that occurs with that district is including on Indonesian problems. Problem that occurs in Papua is as same as when Timor-Timor wants to secede from NKRI. I believe that it is not the greatest solution for Timor-Timor and also Papua. That’s because of the division from NKRI is not guaranteed that Papuan people will pleasant live and prosperous with their new live. There are many countries that want to corporate with Papua because of its treasures. This case can be problem because the companies that stood in Papua do and act as if they are the owner of Papuan district.

All of people in Indonesia have known that this song is a source of Indonesian district. Indonesia has large areas and it consists of kind of languages, tribes, and other. Also, asking someone to respect each other and foster a sense of unity and unity itself. The meaning of that lyrics is will give a sense to spirit and unity and oneness within oneself, like insane kamil, someone life to love the differences each other.

Low education

The low of education in the area of Papua makes my heart is not sincere to take off or secede Papua from NKRI.  The island of Papua, which has an area of ​​approximately 421,981 km2, which is located at the eastern end of the Indonesian region, with the potential of natural resources, and have pushed the nation - foreign nations for control of the island of Papua. As we know that Puncak Jaya is the highest town on the island of Papua, while the lowest is the town of Merauke city. As the tropical regions and the islands, the island of Papua have a higher relative between 80-89 % varying geographical conditions affect population distribution is irrelevant. In 1990 the population numbered 1,648,708 in Papua island life and increased to approximately 2.8 million people in 2006. With the treasures that Papua have, I do not want to take off or secede Papua from NKRI because of how they are able to manage their territory, while the education over there is still very low. Instead, it will make Papua increasingly threatened and emerging occupation as at that time.

Indonesia is can be divide as many countries if Papua want freedom

Indonesia is unity. If Papua will Merdeka, so Indonesia is can be divide as many countries. Java Island as Java state, Sumatera Island as Sumatera state, Sulawesi Island as Sulawesi state, and other like Papua want to Merdeka. It is ridiculed if Indonesia is like this one. So we can see that sense of unity in Indonesia is nothing, just there is a history and story that Indonesia have to be united.

According to Jacob Rumbiak, from Indonesian government’s documents, there are 14 countries support the solution of crimes against humanity in Papua. Another document, as he know, there are 97 countries urged the mission in Papua delivery. The sponsorship also includes the United States, France, Britain, Canada, Germany, and Japan. Latin American countries, such as Chile and Mexico, have also expressed support. And the total is 111 countries.  I am worry when Papua has independent, the state will charge 111 replies with his wealth like Papua have. This will result in increasingly difficult conditions in Papua for peaceful and have highest technology and highest education also.

Conclusion

In conclusion, so, I felt a heavy heart for the release of Papua. Many things that make Papua should be include with the NKRI, especially higher education. Due to the presence of higher education, they are able to manage their own lives, as well as manage what they have, and make it forward Papua with what it has. All things that happened in Papua are conflicts. It cannot be the reason for the Papua to secede from NKRI. We are one, Indonesia, have to be able to keep anything, include the district itself.
