(In The Right Perspective Of Howard Zinn)

This paper take part from the right perspective of Howard Zinn in the Anthrophology Of The Shelf  Book in part 1 with title “Speaking Truth To Power With Book” written by Alisse Waterston and Maria D. Vesperi in 2009. My paper support many article about Christopher Columbus from ‘A People’s History of the United State’ written by Howard Zinn and also read many article from internet.

There are several points of the right perspective of Howard Zinn wrote about Christopher Columbus. Long time ago, as we know that the history book telling discovery American continen is Christopher Columbus, but Howard Zinn has right perspective that discoverer American continen is not Christopher Columbus.

As we know that from past until now, the discoverer American continen is Christopher Columbus. Moreover, prescript by America congress in 1971, people in New York dan San Francisco every year in the second monday in october, they always celebrate of Christopher Columbus day, because on date 12 October that date the first Christopher Columbus come in the new world (America continen). But Christopher Columbus day still debatable in the other circle, because new comer Eropa in America on 1492 effected death history and culture local indigene.             Interview Howard Zinn in Democracy Now about the right perspective in his book ‘A People’s History of the United State’, he said that ‘we should be honest to young people, we should not the save them, we should be honest about the history of America country and we should be not only taking dawn the traditional hero.”  It is became he wrote the fact about who is Christopher Columbus.

American people regard that Christopher Columbus was descovery of America continen, but in the fact Christopher Columbus has many badness are he is grand theft, genocide, racism, initiating the destruction of a culture, rape, torture, and maiming of indigenous people and instigator of the big lie. The important thing that Christopher Columbus not the first people discovery a new world (America).

In Anthrophology Of The Shelf  Book, there are nothing the real fact who the discoverer about American continen, Howard Zinn has right perspective that discoverer American continen is not Christopher Columbus but Howard Zinn not wrote who the discoverer American continen. Conclusion is that Christopher Columbus who the first the rove Atlantic ocean and the first people who discovery America continen are old theory have to unverifield repeatedly.

I read many article in internet about the real fact who the discoverer American continen, Many theory who the first people discovery America continen are Arab and Spain muslim theory, West Africa theory (Mansa Abu Bakar the first descovery America continen), Dynasty Utsmaniyah theory, Discovery News theory (Giovanni Chabotte/John Cabot the first discovery America continen), and Gavin Menzies theory 1421 in this book ‘The Year China Discovered the World' he said that Laksamana Cheng Ho the first discovery American continen.

In that book also just wrote about the fact Christopher Columbus has many badness. Another author also wrote about the badness about the fact Christopher Columbus, but they still add the goodness about Christopher Columbus. I believe that every one have own perspective about their masterpiece. The right perspective of Howard Zinn in the book (Anthrophology Of The Shelf  Book) have many comments from another people, because perspective Howard Zinn fight his country with the perspective. I think that what Howard Zinn do is the appropriate step to be a good writer. Good writer not only to write all they know, but also they have to care also about the reader influence.

Howard Zinn perspective in his book‘A People’s History of the United State’, telling the history of the United States, is different: that we must not accept the memory of states as our own. Nations are not communities and never have been, The history of any country, presented as the history of a family, conceals fierce conflicts of interest (sometimes exploding, most often repressed) between conquerors and conquered, masters and slaves, capitalists and workers, dominators and dominated in race and sex. And in such a world of conflict, a world of victims and executioners, it is the job of thinking people, as Albert Camus suggested, not to be on the side of the executioners.

To be a good writer is not easy, we have to write the good write. Our masterpiece not only read some people, but many people can read, so write the fact history as a Howard Zinn, he very take upon to say that the first discovery American continen is not Christopher Columbus, but I believe that  Howard Zinn just a American people, he just want to uncover discovery American continen.

There are basic points that can be concluded from Howard Zinn’s article is until now still not get the really fact who the discovery American continen. Howard Zinn is a good writer about who is Christopher Columbus, and every one can write their perspective as a Howard Zinn.
